Upon arrival in Florence you meet your English speaking guide who will take you on a walking
tour of the city and show you the most famous sites that Florence has to offer including the
Cathedral, Baptistery, Belltower, and the picturesque shop-lined bridge of the Ponte Vecchio.
You will marvel at the at the beautiful architecture surrounding Piazza della Signoria as your
guide explains the fascinating Renaissance history of this city.
The highlight of your tour is the visit to the Academy Museum which houses “David”, the
most famous statue by Michelangelo and his "Slaves".
At the end of the guided tour you will have lunch, and then free time to wonder around on your
own and shop.
At 3:30 PM you will meet our driver again who will take you to Michelangelo square for the
best view of Florence and surrounding area.
After a brief stop for some memorable pictures your driver will take you back to San Gimignano.
